The Headmaster of the School, Mr. Mahama Andani who announced this to the media at Wulensi, said the school has also been restored with the opportunity as an exam centre after series of meetings and discussions with WAEC officials. This was after the school officials had agreed on condition that all measures would be put in place to curb exam malpractices and disturbances in the school.
According to Mr. Andani, a durbar was organized to sensitize chiefs, stakeholders and the people in the area on their roles and responsibilities to ensure that sanity prevailed in the management of the school in order to pave way for proper academic excellence.
He noted that the era where people had misconceptions about the school was gone and charged heads of tertiary institutions to admit students from the Wulesni Senior High School without any fear, and have confidence in them like any other student from the other schools.
The Headmaster expressed happiness about the lifting of the ban and said “its a dream come true”, adding, this marks a milestone in the forward march of the school and promised to do everything within his capacity to ensure that
He called for concerted efforts from all stakeholders and the students themselves to ensure the school maintains its integrity and competence in order to produce the expected human resource needed for the development of the area in particular and the nation as a whole.
Meanwhile, three hundred and forty-eight (348) candidates are taking part in the ongoing West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) with hundred percent attendance since it started.
