The Bonnke Crusade To Storm Tamale With Evangelist Daniel Kolenda

Rev. Reinhard Bonnke
Renowned international healing and soul-winning evangelist, Reverend Reinhard Bonnke, is due to storm Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana with another planned mega crusade featuring his successor, Evangelist Daniel Kolenda.

Estimated to bring together about 400 thousand believers and non-believers across the entire Northern Ghana and other parts of the country, the crusade seeks to win more souls for Christ.

The crusade, which is being planned by Christ for All Nations (CFAN) in partnership with local churches in the Tamale Metropolis, is scheduled to take place between January 26 and January 29 at the outer periphery of the Tamale Sports Stadium.

At the launch of the event in Tamale which was graced by the Africa Director of CFAN, Rev. John Kwesi Darku and leadership of the local churches, over 600 people turned up to register their support for the upcoming crusade in early 2017.

Dubbed: “The Great Gospel Crusade With Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke”, Rev. Darku in a statement said, the 76year old Rev. Bonnke would also be accompanied by his successor Evangelist Daniel Kolenda who is now the President and Chief Executive Officer of CFAN.

According to him, over the last 50years, the phenomena of healing, salvation, miracles and transformation of lives have characterised the ministry of Rev. Bonnke. “CFAN crusades in Ghana have also had the same effect. Crusades held in Tema, Accra, Ho and Tamale some 30years ago recorded huge crowds of over 100 thousand people who came to be healed and transformed by the power of God.

Rev. John K. Darku
“In recent times, CFAN crusades in Accra, Kumasi, Tema/Ashaiman, Sunyani have recorded attendance of between 400 thousand and 800 thousand”, Rev. Darku said.

He maintains that, the Reinhard Bonnke Gospel Crusade with Daniel Kolenda is “divinely conceived to bring salvation, healing, deliverance, fertility, spiritual peace and progress to the Tamale Metropolis.

“It is organised in collaboration with Church denominations and all Christian bodies in Tamale. The Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic Council, National Association of Charismatic Churches, The Christian Council, Council of Independent Churches, Women’s Aglow International and the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship International are working together with CFAN team to make the crusade a success”, Rev. Darku noted.

He cited among other benefits of the crusade which include the reduction of evil and crime, revival of churches, growth of churches, unity of the Body of Christ, transformation of the communities and economic and commercial.

“Dignitaries from all over the world will accompany Evg. Bonnke to Ghana for the Gospel Crusade. Some of them are investors and will identify some possible areas of investments. This will boost investments into the economy”, he disclosed.

The entire crusade is being financed by CFAN. However, local the churches are expected to own the crusade, enlist all their pastors to be involved, select and train believers for the crusade activities and launch the crusade in all the local churches.

The Chairperson of the Northern Presbytery, Rev. Dr. Solomon Sule-Saa, called for unity among Christians in the Northern Region.

He observed that there are many Christians in the region but due to lack of unity of purpose among various denominations, the growth expected among churches is slow.

Rev. Sule-Saa charged leadership of the various churches to rally their members to complement one another’s efforts in order to be able to accomplish God’s assignment for them.

Rev. Reinhard Bonnke is a German international Pentecostal evangelist, principally known for his gospel missions throughout Africa. Bonnke has been an evangelist and missionary in Africa since 1967.

According to his biographer, “Bonnke has had 75 million recorded decisions for Christ made during his crusades. He has preached the gospel to more people than anyone in history.”

Evangelist Daniel Kolenda is also a modern missionary who has led more than 17-million people to Christ face-to-face through massive open air evangelistic campaigns in some of the most dangerous, difficult and remote locations on earth.
