Ghana’s Consul-General to Tanzania to Throw Big Party for Tamale Orphanage

Ghana’s Honorary Consul-General to Tanzania, Dr. Ken Kwaku, has promised a big Christmas party for the inmates and caretakers of the Tamale Children’s Homes in the Northern Region of Ghana.

As a step towards this promise, Dr. Kwaku who is also Chairman of McOttley Holdings, yesterday presented some food items, soft drinks and diapers to the home.

He thanked caretakers of the home for taking very good care of children in the home and urged them to continue.

The Tamale Children’s Home also known as the Nyohini Children’s Home currently has 30 children with the youngest being one week old.

Madam Elizabeth Aba Annan, mother of the home who received the items from Dr. Ken Kwaku thanked him for his gesture and appealed to the public to assist the home to get a fence wall.

She also appealed for storeroom to keep donated items as well as security lights to keep the compound of the home brighter during the night.
